A heatwave in January caused the ice to melt beforehand on Lake Roxen, Östergötland, south-east Sweden. As a result, the waves produce a bell-like noise as they move the fragments of melting ice between the water and the remaining ice-layer close to the shore. Add to it wonderful light and wind conditions, and all ingredients for a great session fall in place.
